About Instructor

Ese Gift Orakpoghenor is a writer, media practitioner, educator, and serial entrepreneur who believes that writing is a powerful tool for preserving truth, reconstructing narratives, and questioning motives. Her works explore themes of faith, leadership, social justice, and human relationships through biographical writing, historical documentation, poetry, essays, and creative nonfiction. A passionate advocate for youth development, she mentors children and young people through literary, media, educational, and leadership initiatives, with a strong commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Quality Education, Decent Work and Economic Growth, and Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions. A multi-award-winning writer, Ese has received recognition in the Splendours of Dawn Poetry Competition, the Komplete Care Essay Writing Competition, and the NYSC Essay Competition and Symposium. She holds a Nigeria Certificate in Education from the Federal College of Education, Zaria, Kaduna State and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Literary Studies from the Federal University Lokoja, Kogi State. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in English (Literature) at the University of Ibadan, Oyo State. Through her writing, Ese is committed to preserving legacies, inspiring faith, and shaping lives.
